DSN 2026 Mentoring

DSN 2026 proposes a mentoring program designed to make the conference experience more rewarding for students/new participants (= mentees) by assigning them a senior member of the community as a mentor in their research area of interest. The mentor will meet with their mentees in-person at the conference and, optionally, virtually before the conference. The mentor will provide feedback on the mentees’ work and help introduce them to more members of the community.

DSN aims to foster an inclusive community, promoting diversity and increasing the participation of students who are members of underrepresented groups in computing and the new mentoring program aims to help with these goals.

To offer the best experience, we aim to match mentors and mentees as early as possible, and ideally well before the conference. So, we invite you to sign-up at your earliest convenience using the following forms:

We will inform you as soon as there is a suitable match. Note that it is possible to sign-up until 10 days before the conference.
